Loved Ones’ Prepaid Mobile Cards Back Home at SingPost’s 62 Branches

airtime transfer company, today announced the launch of Singapore’s
first over-the-counter mobile airtime transfer service. With this new
service, foreign nationals living in Singapore can instantaneously top
up the prepaid mobile cards of their loved ones back home at any of
SingPost’s 62 post offices island-wide.
This mobile airtime transfer service will be a blessing to some 1.25
million non-residents in Singapore, enabling them to maintain strong
ties with their families and loved ones abroad. It complements the
remittance services available at SingPost’s branches, giving these
residents another option to top up overseas prepaid mobile cards,
besides the traditional method of cash transfers.

Plastyc Selects TransferTo for Mobile Refill
Offers Refill Capability to Financial Institutions

NEW YORK, NY -
TransferTo, the leading global airtime transfer network connecting
mobile operators across most migration corridors, has expanded its
offering to financial institutions. TransferTo has announced that
Plastyc, Inc., a provider of personal financial services and prepaid
Visa card accounts, as its first client in the US.
Plastyc’s Upside Visa cardholders can now refill
their own mobile prepaid account and the ones of their relatives
abroad. Cardholders log into the iBankUP online banking site, enter the
mobile phone number to be refilled, and select the denomination amount.
The refill is performed in real time with a confirmation text message
sent to the beneficiary and email to the Upside cardholder. In
addition, the cardholder can include a personal message in the
confirmation text message.
